Enables a complete length of drain, duct or pipe (non-metallic) to be traced when used in conjunction with a signal generator.

Coiled fibreglass rod protects a central copper tracing conductor.

The Digitrace has a 30-metre metal detection wire with fibreglass rod on reel. The fibre-optic rod is pushed into the pipe or drain. until the Digitrace locks in, where the blockage accumulates. The Digitex signal transmitter is used to lay a detection signal on the cable, which is located by the Digicat.

1st: to locate the entire cable by connecting the Digitex with the red wire to the Digitrace and the black one to the ground pin.

2nd: to connect the red and black wire of the Digitex all two to the Digitrace, so the signal will sit at the end of the cable, allowing you to locate only the end of the Digitrace cable ( so-called probe operation)
