Shock absorbers are special
accessories to Vesala’s
NanoSonde, MicroSonde and
MiniSonde, intended for duct
tracing and calibration together
with a blowing machine. They
considerably decrease risk of
sonde damage during jetting by
absorbing the excessive energy
when the sonde hits an object.
Hence it is recommended to use
shock absorbers when possible.
All shock absorbers include a
base part with a spring with two
threaded fittings. First thread is
to mount the base to the sonde,
the other for a calibrator head or
push rod. A variety of shock
absorbers and calibrator heads
are readily available for different
sonde models and duct sizes.

compatible combinations.
