OMTools BV declares that all customer information will be treated confidentially and will only be used to help you better. OMTools BV safeguards the privacy of this information by means of well-protected password-protected servers. This enables us to maintain your account and keep you informed of new products, special offers and other services as soon as they become available.
We regularly analyse how visitors to our site use it in order to get a better idea of how the site is used, which enables us to make improvements. The information we collect for this purpose is evaluated only on the overall picture and not on a customer level. These analyses will be processed in reports, but no individual and personal information will be recognisable in these.
Use of customer service data
In order to use our customer service, you usually have to go through a registration procedure, in which you are asked to enter a number of data, such as first name, last name and e-mail address. This registration data is used to send you information as part of our services.
New privacy rules
As of 25 May 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) will apply. This means that, from that date, the same privacy legislation applies throughout the European Union (EU). The Personal Data Protection Act (Wbp) will then no longer apply.
It goes without saying that OMTools BV is also obliged to comply with these new regulations. In order to be as transparent as possible, we will briefly explain how we handle your data.
Your customer data will be stored in our optimally secured server environment at the head office in Zeewolde.
Your name and address details will only be used for our own communication purposes. (Including sales invoices, sales history, e-mails, telephone, newsletters)
We will never pass on your details to third parties.
Paper data carriers are inaccessible to third parties. They will be destroyed after the legal retention period of 5 years.
The account data for the web shop also fall under this privacy legislation.
