Leica DA175 signal Transmitter
NEW from Leica is this DA175 signal generator, which is made cheaper by using normal Alkaline D-Cell ( LR20) batteries, but still has all the Frequencies that are in the DA220 and DA230.
This makes it compatible with all cable detectors.
The DA175 is only available in the 1-watt version.

Built-in test function
Available frequencies:
512Hz: smallest spread, very long distance, works only by putting signal with clamps directly on the cable.
640Hz: small spread, long distance, works only by putting signal with clamps directly on the cable.
8kHz: normal diffusion, medium long distance (avoid)
33kHz: large spread, short distance (avoid)
Therefore the DA175 can also be used with all Leica cable detectors in the 100 and 200 series
