ADA SH 225, Hammer (Sclerometer) or (Rebound Hammer)Resiliometer
The ADA hammer SH225 is used to measure the hardness of concrete.
By compressing the hammer, a spring is tensioned, which at a certain point approaches its end and rebounds onto the concrete. The hammer bounces back from the concrete, so to speak, and this recoil or reflection is measured.
The degree of recoil determines the hardness of the concrete or the surface pressure or compressive strength in kg / cm2 or the corresponding N / mm.
Compressive strength is expressed as a series of letters and numbers.
For example:
B 25 means normal concrete with a compressive strength of 25 N / mm². There are various intermediate values up to the highest resistance class B 55. With our hardness tester you can classify the concrete easily, quickly and accurately.
